Grading
System
The
Oley Valley Middle School utilizes the following
grading system.
| A = 100% - 93% |
| B = 92% - 85% |
| C = 84% - 77% |
| D = 76% - 70% |
| E = 69% - 0% |
| I = Incomplete |
| M = Medical |
| P = Pass |
| F = Fail |
| O = Outstanding

| S = Satisfactory
(84%-70%) |
| U = Unsatisfactory
(69%-0%) |
Honor Roll / Merit Roll
Students
can obtain Honor Roll or Merit Roll each quarter by completing the following
criteria.
Honor Roll: Two A's in either English, Science, Math, or Social
Studies. All other subjects must be a B or higher with the exception of classes
graded on an O, S, and U system which must be an S or higher.
Merit Roll: A grade
of B or higher in all subjects with the exception of classes graded on an
O, S and U system which must be an S or higher. Students can obtain
Honor Roll awards for the entire year by completing the following criteria.
Honor Roll for the Year: Students will be awarded an Honor
Roll certificate at the end of the year awards ceremony if they receive Honor
Roll in EVERY quarter throughout the year. Students who receive
Honor Roll for three quarters and Merit Roll for one quarter will not be eligible
for this Honor Roll certificate.
