In the 4th grade Pennsylvania project the 4th graders have to make a model of Pennsylvania. First they use papier mache to make the outside. Then they painted the regions. They painted the Atlantic coastal plain and Lake Erie coastal plain in PA green. Next they painted the Piedmont orange. Then they painted the Ridge and Valley brown. Next they painted the Allegheny Plateau yellow. Next they painted the lakes and rivers blue. Last they dotted and pasted the cities. That's how the 4th graders made the Pennsylvania model.
