Acceptable Use Policy Survey

This process is intended to inform all OVSD employees of the computer, network, and information resource policies at our school district. It has been decided that due to the increasing prevalence of data security breaches in government and the private sector, it is now good policy to insure that all employees become familiar with and agree to the terms of our policy.

This web page will first forward you to a training video on how to turn off file sharing on Windows XP computers. This is one of the most important things we can do to keep others out of our files. Although the video has no meaning on a Macintosh, it might be of value to Mac users that have a Windows XP laptop or home computer.

After viewing the video, you will forward to a series of webpages where you will read the OVSD Acceptable Use Policy. Click the link at the bottom of each page to move to and read the next section. At the very end, you will be presented with the agreement page, which you should print, fill out, and submit to your supervisor. Employees who have no computer access may get assistance from an employee or supervisor who does.

Thanks you in advance for your cooperation in this important process!
