This year we toured Georgio Mushrooms and Timac Agro Fertilizers. Students were given the opportunity to see in action the production of compost, growth and harvesting of mushrooms, and the sterilization and packaging of fresh mushrooms. After eating lunch at Hoss’s, they visited Timac and learned about the different types of fertilizers they produce and the new technologies that are being incorporated into the industry. Overall, it was a great time!
